A BOW DOWN TO TALENTS OF TIPS SALEM

TIPS STUDENTS BREAK RECORDS AT STATE AND NATIONAL ARCHERY AND SHOOTING COMPETITIONS With a steady gaze, our 8-year-old Master Kevin of Grade 3 clutches the bow, aims at the target and releases the arrow from the taut string that pierces through the circle in the centre, winning the First Position at the 12th State Level Archery Competition. Taking us to the height, the little champ has set the State Level Record by scoring 344/360 and adding to, it’s the highest score when compared to all other categories of the day. Our Promising Student - Prameya of Grade 10 has qualified for the National Shooting Competition after winning Second place at the 29th All India G.V. Mavalankar Shooting Championship conducted by National Rifle Association of India at Jaipur between 28th September to 5th October 2019. We wish her good luck for the National Level competition at Delhi during November 2019. Chennai Lad, Piano Prodigy Lydian Nadhaswaram @ TIPS, Erode

TIPS Students and the entire community were honoured with the presence of Mr. A. P. Sreedhar renowned artist and Master Lydian Nadhaswaram - the 13-year-old child prodigy from Chennai along with his beloved sister – Ms.Amirthavarshini and his parents – Mr.Varshan Sathish and Mrs.Jhansi. Mr. A.P. Sreedhar, a self-taught artist, actor and producer, was the first to bring to India its first 3D art museum, in Chennai. His silicon statue of former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial in Rameshwaram, was immensely appreciated by the Prime Minister for capturing 50 different emotions of APJ Abdul Kalam in a single canvas. Lydian Nadaswaram, described by AR Rahman as one of India’s treasures was the favorite to win ‘The World’s Best global talent contest in 2019, taking home $1 million in prize money. He aspires to compose music for Hollywood and also wants to play the piano on the moon at some point. He played the most renowned tunes by maestros Mozart, Beethoven and even blind-folded for the students. In an effort to give exposure to our students in all avenues TIPS ACADEMY of ART and PHOTOGRAPHY and the TIPS KIDS NEWS studios were inaugurated on 6 August 2019 at our CBSE and International campuses by Master. Lydian Nadaswaram and Mr. Nakeeran Gopal. TIPS invites luminaries from different walks of life to share their experiences with our student fraternity. The interactive session with Lydian was immensely stimulating and motivating. Students were enthralled. Erode Sahodaya Inter-school Badminton Tournament

Young and Talented Shuttlers across the district were in action at the Sahodaya Inter School Badminton Tournament which was organized at CS Academy, Erode on 9th & 10th August 2019. About 150 students from 17 esteemed schools of the city participated in the tournament under categories of U-10, U-12,U-14, U-16 and U-19. Our Boys and Girls bagged the Winner medals by tactfully pacing their moves, as the competition worked up quite a sweat. The game of badminton is also about body language. The way our players manipulated the racket, made a huge difference. These strategic moves on the part of our students did propel them to victory. We congratulate our student champions, PE Team for this fantastic achievement! ...


TIPS NACE AQUATIC MEET

Medals of Gold! Silver! Bronze! TIPS Aquatic Winning Moments for TIPS Salem and TIPS Erode TIPS NACE AQUATIC MEET hosted by TIPS Tirupur on 17th August 2019, witnessed a fascinating performance by the participants. . The event drew participation not only from the district's renowned institutions but also from other city schools, from in and around the city. There had been a participation of 450 students from about 35 schools. TIPS Team heartily congratulates all the winners of TIPS Salem and TIPS Erode for bagging huge tally of medals. A big round of applause to all the participants and PE team who gave it all and added laurels to TIPS. This was undoubtedly an enriching and memorable experience for all the students. ARPANAM 2019 – Care For Humanity

The Indian Public School, Erode (International Campus) celebrated Arpanam on 14th August 2019. The event is about commemoration of our past, the revival of the heroic battles we fought against the suppressors, and a reminder about the glorious future that awaits our nation. Arpanam is an one day event where we come together as a team with the spirit of patriotism and engage in events which light the passion of oneness. The theme for this year was ‘Care for Humanity’, where we celebrated our care and affection for people around us and the things that brought better living .
